We’re always on the hunt for music the whole family can enjoy. Here are some artists we recently discovered on the kids’ stage a very popular music festival.

But that’s how I feel about my kids. I really don’t care if they like my music. They spent years listening to me play Aretha, Luther Vandross, The Rolling Stones, etc. and if they one day said, “Hey, Mom? Can you put on that one AC/DC song?”, that’d be great. There are obviously a lot of variables that go into when a kid is old enough for his first “real” concert, but in my opinion, 11 or 12 years-old is ideal. Not only are the children probably fans of the artist and know his or her songs by this age, but they’re able to sit still during the boring wait times and they won’t get too exhausted when the hour gets late.
Tomorrow afternoon you are to going stand in an auditorium with a thousand other kids your age. People will speak. Some parents will dab tears. Others will be elbowing their way to a prime position in order to take a photo with their zoom lens. I don’t need to tell you which group I will be in.
