Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
Do you really shop for your own gift? Or, are you here looking for your own mother and the grandmas in your kids’ lives?
Well, if you’re like us, we’re on the hunt for Grandma. As such, here are some ideas for you. Now, beware you need to act fast as Mother’s Day is less than two weeks away.
Here are some ideas:
Personalized Stationery
Who doesn’t love stationery? Personalized stationery, even better. Some special choices made for you.

* Left: Personalized notecard by Farouche
* Right: Monogrammed letterpress cards by Color Box Designs
Clutches
These silk clutches are just scene-stealers. I have the first one and wow, the compliments just don’t stop.

* Clutches on top Row & second row (on the left) by Red Ruby Rose. (Hat tip to DesignMom)
* Navy Blossom clutch on second row (right) by Atelier of Mine.
Custom Silhouettes
We’ve been longtime fans of custom silhouettes having touted them as ideas before. Honestly, I don’t think you can have too many silhouettes of kids especially since they change so quickly. This one below is cut out of a green leaf. I think a collection of silhouettes comprised of different textures is such a great idea. Need to get to that myself.

These custom leaf silhouettes are available at Jenny Lee Fowler. (Hat tip to Inhabitots)
Luxuries
If you can afford it, you should be splurging on mama. Just sayin’.

The Kindle 2. We’ve tried it and we love it. It’s a PERFECT, though pricey gift.

We love these trays by John Derian. This is a collectible to be treasured. I use mine for perfume and for my jewelry.

A fabulous jewelry box. This one is wooden, colorful and on sale. Available at Vivre (an emporium of fabulousness).
* Super Gran card by Storey Shop

Silhouettes in different textures–so brilliant! I’m also sure great grandma would love the green on that jewlery box.
We just finished a project for grandma yesterday—we made handsoap and inserted a transpaancy for my kiddo’s art (http://giverslog.com/?p=1146). It turned out cute.
