Halloween Craft: Silly Pumpkins

By Cindy Hopper

My daughter is so anxious to carve our pumpkins, but with weeks until Halloween I know they would become rotten. So we decided to decorate our pumpkin for now and carve later!

It was super simple, but loads of fun!

We purchased a mask, some pom poms, feathers and gathered a few supplies we already had at home.

We of course started with glitter!

We added a few more details…

We decided it was missing something! We found just what we needed in a magazine.

We glued the eyes to the back of the mask and the lips directly to the pumpkin. We decided on the next pumpkin we will forgo the mask and glue the fun features from the magazine right on the pumpkin.

Yes, she is slightly creepy, but so glamorous!

How do you decorate your pumpkins if you aren’t ready to carve yet?
