It’s no secret that my favorite baby gift is a bundle of my favorite children’s books. Here are some (or seventy) of my favorite books for babies and young children.

I have been slowly commissioning affordable custom portraits of my son. My plan is to have a gallery of framed drawings, paintings, sketches and silhouettes of my son at different ages in childhood. I have several already, mostly from artists found on Etsy. Here’s a recent find.

My son just loves to draw. And I love to keep his hands busy particularly if we’re out to a meal where waiting even just a normal amount of time can seem an eternity for a busy boy like mine.
