World’s Greatest Mom Temporary Tattoos for Mother’s Day

By Brenda Ponnay

We’re making temporary tattoos for both mom and kids that read “World’s Greatest Mom” and “I Love My Mom” enclosed in hearts and arrows. They make for great handmade Mother’s Day gifts.

If they look familiar it’s because we were inspired by the temporary tattoos we made for Father’s Day a few years ago. We’re thinking it’s time Mom had some too! I’m personally loving the Popeye vibe and wearing mine proud!

We’ve made this handy printable so you can have some tattoos on Mother’s Day too! Just click to download  and print on temporary tattoo paper. You can pick up temporary tattoo paper at your local craft store or order it online. Temporary tattoo paper is very easy to use. Just follow the instructions on the box and make sure you are printing on the shiny side.close-up of cut out temporary tattoos of hearts and arrows for Mother's Day saying World's Greatest Mom and Mom and more

Then cut out your printed tattoos carefully, leaving as little “white” as possible. Don’t worry about these designs being backwards. This is on purpose so that when they are applied they read right-ways. It confused me at first too but don’t worry, I’ve got your back.

Apply your tattoos (we use a wet paper towel and sing the alphabet) and then show off your Mother’s Day love!

You might wish these tattoos weren’t so temporary!
