Bunny Name Cards printable for Your Easter Celebration!
The older I get the more I realize that I am the matriarch of the family and if I want to have fun, meaningful family dinners on holidays, I have to be the one who plans them! One of my favorite parts of planning a big family dinner is setting the table. This might say something about my cooking skills but let’s not dwell on that.
This Easter I wanted to make something fun and playful for the kids. Usually I get them to make name cards and it’s a fun craft to while away the last hours before dinner but this time I wanted to get in on the action too so I made the name cards! Bunny ones that look like they’re hopping. Aren’t they cute?! I did make some blank ones that they can cut out and color, too, so I wasn’t completely selfish.
Click through for a printable and a tutorial on how to make your own for your Easter table (or any time of the year!).
First, print out our bunny table card printable here. If you want the coloring sheet version, print out this one.
You can use scissors to cut these out but it will be a lot easier if you have an Exacto knife and a self-healing mat (or cutting board).
Step 1. Cut out around the outside of the bunny (and carrot).
Step 2. Cut out the bunny front paws. (see above photo for reference)
Step 3. Fold along all the dotted lines.
Step 4. Cut out the bunny tail.
Step 5. Fold the bunny into shape!
This step is a bit tricky and it will be easiest if you refer to the photos. You want to fold the head backwards and the paws forward. There is another dotted line at the bunny’s elbow (do bunnies have elbows?) so that the paws fold even more forwards so push the paws up and the head back so that your bunny isn’t doing a face plant.
Now move on to the back. You’re actually going to reverse the fold at the bunny’s bottom because this is not his tummy and his butt goes in the air. Fold the tail up and the paws down like so! Bend your bunny around until he sits just right!
Then set your table and place your bunny cards on each plate. Write on your family member’s names on the carrot so everyone knows where you want them to sit!
Hope you enjoy our hoppy little bunny table cards! Happy Easter!
