Print the inchworms on thin colored copy paper. Cut out inchworm going clear to the edge of the paper even though the printing stops.

Fold inchworms on the dotted line toward the inside.

Gather the folds and punch at marking at the end. This takes a sharp regular sized hole punch and a strong hand.

Thread worm onto a pencil or pixie stick. Embellish worms with hearts, pom poms and googly eyes.

You can trim around the head to make it more rounded if you like.

These are just perfect! I have some Valentine’s Day pencils that I wanted to give away, but I was clueless as to how to decorate them easily and quickly. Thanks!!

These are great! I have a friend with a three year old who comes over quite a lot to my house. He will love these!

I think these are great! I was wondering, too, if you could have an alternate inch worm in green which says inching along towards spring so that little kids could make/use them to celebrate the first day of Spring?
