DIY Printable May Day Basket

By Cindy Hopper

I love May Day. Here is a quick little printable coloring page that you can download to help your child make a darling May Day basket.

Download the Printable-May-Day-Basket, and have your child color.

Cut out all pieces, going clear to the edges even though the pattern stops short.

Fold basket piece into a cone and fasten with glue stick. Also attach the handle with a generous amount of glue stick.

Gather some pipe cleaners and pom poms to make the flowers.

Carefully poke a hole in the center of the paper flower with scissors. Send the pipe cleaner through the hole and then bend the end over.  Glue a pom pom over the bent pipe cleaner.

Attach leaves with glue.

Fill basket with the flowers and some candy and hang on your neighbors door.
