hotspot_nurtureshock.jpgAre you a fan Malcolm Gladwell’s books? You know Outliers, Blink and The Tipping Point?

Then I think you’ll really enjoy NurtureShock: New Thinking About Children. I sure did.

Much like Gladwell, the authors highlight innovative research studies to debunk long-held assumptions and theories about child-rearing and why kids do the things they do. The chapters on why kids need more sleep and why teenagers are nocturnal creatures is worth the investment in the book alone.
