“Golden Snitch” Lollipop Valentines
Any Harry Potter fans in the house? You know you want to send out Quidditch-themed Valentines this year! This free valentine printable lets you make your own 3D golden snitch from just a lollipop and some gold wrapping paper. Tell your Gryffindor BFFs that you’ve been “seeking a keeper” (sorry, but working “quaffle”s and “bludgers” into a valentine message just wasn’t going to happen without things getting really, really weird)

The printable has four cards to one page, and you’ll also need some gold wrapping paper, scissors, sticky tape, and some lollipops. If you want to cut the hole for the lollipop to go through without folding the card then you’ll also need a crafting knife.
We used a little bowl to mark circles onto our wrapping paper, then cut them out and wrapped the lollipop tightly, twisting and taping the wrapping paper securely over the lollipop’s plastic wrapping.
Then you need to cut the little cross marked on each card and poke the lollipop through the hole.
Simple enough that you could make a whole class-load of them pretty quickly. An easy way for all you Harry Potter geeks to tell your friends that they are for keeps. Ten points for Gryffindor!
