Snow Day Fun!

We have been having fun at our house with snow paint! It is the perfect way to enjoy the snow!

Snow paint is super easy to make and will keep kids (and adults) busy as long as they can stay outside! All you need are spray bottles with adjustable nozzles and food coloring. We found our squeeze bottles at the dollar store. Gel food coloring provided us with vibrant colors. (We used fuchsia, regal purple, mint green and orange). Regular liquid food coloring can also be used, but these gels are the type of food coloring we use for everything at my house. From frosting to craft projects it is great!

Fill the bottles about 1/4 the way full. Add several drops of food coloring and shake well. We continued adding food coloring until we liked the color. You can test it on a paper towel.  Now you are ready to head outside and paint.

We loved snow painting!

Next time we decided we will make animals out of snow and paint them!
