Easy Felt Leaf Napkin Rings for Thanksgiving
If you want a simple way to make your Thanksgiving table festive and let older children help in the decorating these leaf napkin rings will be the perfect activity!
Just a few simple supplies and you can get your table holiday ready!
Felt Leaf Napkin Ring Supplies
- felt sheets in fall colors (found at craft or sewing store)
- fabric or tacky glue
- scissors
- leaf napkin ring template
Download the leaf napkin ring template. Print and cut out. Draw around template on felt.
Cut out the leaf shape and also the top and bottom of the acorn. Cut a small slip at the bottom of the leaf on ONE side. Be sure to not cut too close to the edge.
Glue acorn together then glue acorn to leaf on the end with the slit.
Allow glue to dry. Once dry bring the leaf opposite the slit through the back of the slit. Pull until leaf comes through.  I think it is easiest to do this around a folded napkin instead of trying to slip the napkin into the finished ring.  How easy was that! We are making them in all different colors so our table will be filled with beautiful fall colored leaves!
