A Note From the Other Side
Hello,
A couple of months ago you answered a question of mine after I had a very traumatic midwife visit and had something of a nervous breakdown worrying about whether or not our baby was going to be ok and arrive safely.
I promised I’d let you know, and so, here it is :O)…
Little Logan Issac was born on the 23rd of December at 3:40am after labor was induced on the 21st weighing in at 8lbs and half an ounce. Assisted delivery but we’re both doing well and got out of hospital yesterday just in time for Christmas.
I hope you and the boys had a wonderful Christmas,
Claire (and Logan!!)
Well, you did it again. After being the first Advice Smackdown question-asker to ever make me cry, your (wonderful, awesome) update did to. I think I can safely speak for anyone who read your original letter that oh, we are so so over-the-moon happy for you and your little boy. (And I must say I am also very partial to his middle name as well.)
I wish you guys a wonderful first-days experience and months and years of all the frustratingly challenging awesomeness that comes with motherhood. And while Logan’s presence will of course never erase or “replace” your other lost babies, I do hope you were/are able to find some peace, healing, emotional support, blah blah I’m getting corny here, POINT IS HOORAY FOR HEALTHY BABIES AND CONGRATULATIONS AND *throws arms up Kermit-the-Frog style* YAAAAYYYYYY!!!
