By Cindy Hopper

These colorful paperweights make the perfect handmade Holiday gift that a child can make easily.

Gather some rocks, fabric scraps, foam brush and decoupage. Begin by cutting small pieces of fabric. Paint a bit of decoupage the size of the fabric piece on the rock.

Continue until the entire rock is covered.  Make sure all the edges of the fabric pieces a completely attached to the rock.  Allow to dry at least 15 minutes.

If you would like to add a monogram like we did, cut a letter out of fabric and attached with decoupage to the dried layer of fabric covering the rock. Let dry 15 minutes. Once dry give the entire rock a generous coat of decoupage.
