Nice Guy Award: Hyundai Motors
Yesterday we created the Nice Guy Award and awarded Toys “R” Us. Today we’re awarding Hyundai Motors. Again, we have no idea whether Hyundai is a guy or a gal. Guy just sounded better to our ears.
So why is Hyundai getting a Nice Guy Award?
Hyundai is offering a vehicle return program you to walk away from your loan or lease in case of certain life-altering circumstances, like losing your job. Hyundai calls it the Hyundai Assurance.
How does it work?
- Available to all new Hyundai cars leased or bought in the next 12 months & to everybody regardless of age, health or employment history
- Covers up to $7,500 in negative equity
- Coverage in case of: involuntary unemployment, physical disability, loss of driver’s license due to medical impairment, int’l employment transfer, self-employed bankruptcy, accidental death
