The Kid Art Auction for Earth Day 2009

Calling all kids for donating, bidding and general do-gooding!
Enter the Kid Art Auction for Earth Day 2009.
Encourage your child to donate his artwork, and/or bid on another child’s artwork. All proceeds benefit The Nature Conservancy whose mission is to “preserve the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive.”
This fundraiser is organized by mom bloggers Aimee of Greeblemonkey and Amy of Inherent Passion. But the brains behind the whole thing is Aimee’s son Declan, who started it all last year when he asked hold an art sale in their backyard, which then migrated online and wound up raising nearly $800 for environmental causes. Sweeeet!
The Kid Art Auction runs through Earth Day, which is April 22. That leaves plenty of time to get involved.
