Product Launch: Hatch by Twobirds Maternity Collection

I am in love with what I’ve seen so far from this maternity collection. It includes the stylish pieces that you can wear before, during and after a pregnancy.

Hatch is the newest line from Twobirds which made a name for itself in the fashion world by designing versatile bridesmaid dresses that can be wrapped into 15 different styles and be worn again and again. So, it only made sense that when designer Ariane Goldman was pregnant with her first child she would look to bring the same versatility and creativity to expecting mamas’ wardrobes.

This one minute video shows it all.

Hatch All Together from Gilt Groupe on Vimeo.

A collection full of black, red, grey, blue & white stripes feels as if it were designed JUST for me. Also, doesn’t it look like all you need to add is a pair of big sunglasses, a statement necklace and a vocab replete with insane and bananas and you’re just like Rachel Zoe?   In terms of pricing, the clothes are definitely investment pieces, but given how often I re-wore my maternity clothes, the fact that you can get use before and after a pregnancy, makes it definitely worth it on a price-per-use basis.

If you’re interested, it’s your lucky day.  Hatch launches exclusively today on Gilt and if you’re a Gilt member (which is free) you get a 20% discount at checkout.  Plus, a portion of the sale proceeds go to the maternal and fetal health awareness organization, Every Mother Counts which was co-founded by Christy Turlington.  This opportunity lasts until September 30th.

Here is a picture of Christy (in a black dress), Ariane (the designer in a red dress) and Alexis Maybank (Gilt co-founder, expecting and in a navy dress) all wearing dresses by Hatch.  I love how Ariane has cinched the waist on the red “maternity dress.”Hatch by twobirds

Look good and do good, all at a discount?  Sounds like a win-win to me.

Disclosure: I work on the “Gilt-y Mom” program.  However, I have chosen to write about Hatch because I’m loving what I’ve seen so far with this fashion line.
