I think this idea would be really fun, and its not the same as everyone else! I do have a question? When you pull them apart does the confetti just sort of slip out?
I think it’s a lovely and super fun idea to celebrate finding out a major part of who your child will
Be! Soon after I can start my registry!

We had a fun 20 member “audience” at the ultrasound of our first when we found out she was a girl and everyone is asking what we are going to do to celebrate the second. I LOVE the idea of poppers and personally appreciate the DIY tutorial. Thank you!

Just because parents celebrate the fact that they are having either a boy or a girl doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t have celebrated just as much if they got the other gender.

Also, sex and gender are the same thing.

We are talking boy babies and girl babies! What else can differentiate them to let people know what it’s going to be. For goodness sakes, if you don’t like fru fru stuff don’t go the sites. Please. Thank you!

I am torn because on one hand, I think the idea of these parties is kind of fun, especially if the parents-to-be are in the dark about it too (i.e. having a trusted friend take care of the ‘surprise’ part).

But on the other hand, I agree with sanbikinoraion…there are just way more interesting things about my kid than what’s between her legs, and I don’t get the obsession with it during pregnancy. I mean, I know babies don’t have much else TO them as newborns anyway, but I don’t know, it’s all just so base. People just focus on it in this huge way, as though the XX or XY chromosomes are the most exciting thing in this new little person’s life.

Anyway, I could go on about it. But I do think these poppers are a cute idea.

It was so amazing to see my friend’s reaction when she bit in!
