Nice Guy Award: National Geographic Kids & COTTON

hotspot_denim.jpgNational Geographic Kids is well on its way to entering the Guinness Book of World Records for collecting the most denim ever. Then, it will be donated to COTTON. FROM BLUE TO GREEN.®, which recycles denim into insulation to help rebuild communities in need.
The collection count in early July was 29,317. But what-o-what will be the grand total for the Guinness World Record?
You and your kids can make your best guess and enter the Guess the Denim Count Contest at COTTON. FROM BLUE TO GREEN.® by August 10, 2009, for a chance to win an American Express gift card and a year’s subscription to NG Kids magazine.
And, if you live in Washington D.C. are you can get in on the fun as they’ll be displaying the entire denim donation on Aug. 12th. NG Kids will be at Union Station in Washington, D.C. at 10:30 a.m. their eye-popping display of denim as a representative from Guinness World Records recognizes NG Kids for achieving the Largest Collection of Clothes to Recycle.
My guess? I’m not telling. I want to win!
