Stocking Stuffer Gift Guide

By Isabel Kallman

I think of stocking stuffers as the cherry on top of the fabulous dessert that is Christmas giving. They are small gifts. Treats. Cute and adorable. Things you don’t really need and wouldn’t buy for yourself, but would love to have.
Throughout the year, we look for ideas that exactly fit this description. Here’s our list:

Onion Goggles

Onion Goggles are great for the Top Chef in your life. I discovered them while on a blogger trip with Kashi and the large group had a private cooking lesson. I was in charge of dicing about a dozen onions and whilst I was happily chopping along, the rest of the group was escaping the kitchen from the onion fumes. See I had on my new-found chef hero gear, onion goggles. You may think it’s a weird gift, but I think it’s fabulous as I have seen its magical powers of protection.

Twilight Technology Skins

You recognize that your tween/ teen is crushing majorly on Twilight right now. Having been there yourself (that is with St. Elmo’s Fire, ahem), you also recognize that it is fleeting in the grand scheme of life. And, that’s why this line of temporary Twilight decals by Skinit are perfect asthey let her decorate her mobile phone (or computer) while her obsession is in full-effect. In fact, I see Skinit as the new rockstar poster (mine were of Michael Jackson and Madonna), and my room was my oyster. Let’s be honest here, we all know that a mobile phone and/or computer are your daughter’s world right now. (Another stocking stuffer idea is small Twilight Puzzle Ball that we mentioned earlier.)

Window Crayons & Cray Pas

Kids love to draw and they do so all year long. But, Crayolas are so back-to-school. Want to up the ante? One idea is window crayons, which allow your kids to go a little crazy on the windows; all you need is soap and water to clean-up. Or, go for cray pas, which elevates the experience. Gosh, I love Cray Pas.
Name Stamps

The Little Stamp Company makes these interesting and pretty personalized stamps that help your young ones learn to print their signature. Perfect gift for a preschooler.
