For the past several years, Scholastic Storybook Treasures has been amassing quite a collection on DVD. You can now find over one hundred of the best-selling and most loved Scholastic books brought to life on the screen.

Two of our personal favorites are Pete’s a Pizza and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. But really, the best part is that the collection is kind of like a box of chocolates. You never know what kind of treat you will get. Most of the time, a book is brought to life as an animation. But other times it could be a music video or an hour-long mini movie. And, you can expect to hear the familiar voices of celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker and James Earl Jones.

Scholastic Treasury Storybooks now has an entire website, NewKideo, dedicated just for parents and their kids where you can read and write reviews of the DVDs and print out coloring pages for your child.
