Supplies:

Hershey’s Kisses, wooden skewers, floral tape, glue dots, red cellophane

Fasten two kisses bottom to bottom with a glue dot.

Wrap a 5″ X 5″ piece of cellophane around the kisses.

Place wooden skewer in the middle of the cellophane next to the Hershey’s Kisses.

Starting just under the chocolate “bud” begin wrapping floral tape around the cellophane and all the way down the skewer. Slightly stretch the floral tape as you wrap.

The floral tape is sticky and should stay fastened but to make it really secure finish off with a dab of glue or a glue dot.

To make the roses extra special cut a leaf shape out of green card-stock and write a little note to mom! Fasten the leaves by wrapping them on the stem with a bit more floral tape.

Cut out all pieces, going clear to the edges even though the pattern stops short.

Fold basket piece into a cone and fasten with glue stick. Also attach the handle with a generous amount of glue stick.

Gather some pipe cleaners and pom poms to make the flowers.

Carefully poke a hole in the center of the paper flower with scissors. Send the pipe cleaner through the hole and then bend the end over.  Glue a pom pom over the bent pipe cleaner.

Attach leaves with glue.

Fill basket with the flowers and some candy and hang on your neighbors door.

You will need scrapbooking paper, large paper clips and glue. Small paper clips can also be used, just adjust the paper size.

Hook paper clips together making a continuous chain that fits over the head.

Cut strips of paper about 1 1/2 inches wide. They need to fit the middle of the paper clips.

Cut the strips into smaller pieces that will wrap all the way around the paper clip.

Wrap small pieces around each paper clip, secure with glue.

Use another paper clip to secure the paper while the glue dries.

Once dry remove paper clips and you have one cool necklace!

I found that Clover has the most handy dandy tool to make pom poms. It makes it super simple and quick, especially for children. I bought the small set.

You simply open up the little plastic tool, wrap each side, cut (good job for an adult), tie,  pull plastic piece apart and you have a perfect pom pom!

Add some googly eyes to turn your pom pom into a warm fuzzy!

We hot glued ours to a pencil eraser top to turn our warm fuzzy into a pencil topper! We are gluing  some to clothes pins to clip a little love note to!

Free Printable Dragon Mask

Color the mask.

Cut out mask then cut out the complete eye area.  Punch a hole on each side of mask.

Fasten a piece of yarn on each side and then tie in the back.

Then roar, “Happy New Year!”

Download the PDF and print in color on white cardstock. Cut out the snowman heads.

Snowman Treat Bag Toppers PDF

Cut the hat on the dotted line and fold on the solid gray line.

Fold the flaps around the top of a treat bag and staple.  You can color the staple with a sharpie marker to help it hide.

Keep kids (and adults) entertained and sharpen their knowledge of Thanksgiving with these printable trivia cards, which also includes a little maze.

You will need a paper cutter or scissors, “golf pencils” (found at an office supply store) and a hole punch.

Cut paper in half so you have two trivia card.  Fold the top of the card down to the top of the turkey. This will hide the answers to the questions!

Punch holes at the top for the pencil to slide through.

Each side will need two punches to make the holes slightly larger.

Slip a pencil through the wholes and you are ready for some turkey trivia!

It was super simple, but loads of fun!

We purchased a mask, some pom poms, feathers and gathered a few supplies we already had at home.

We of course started with glitter!

We added a few more details…

We decided it was missing something! We found just what we needed in a magazine.

We glued the eyes to the back of the mask and the lips directly to the pumpkin. We decided on the next pumpkin we will forgo the mask and glue the fun features from the magazine right on the pumpkin.

Yes, she is slightly creepy, but so glamorous!

How do you decorate your pumpkins if you aren’t ready to carve yet?

All you need is a bottle of liquid hand soap with a pump. This one is about $0.97 at Target.

First remove the label. I used a little Goo Gone to remove the sticky residue.

Embellished Soap Dispenser Printable

Copy the soap dispenser printable onto a transparency. It needs to be printed on a copy machine to keep the ink from smearing. I tried printing on my home laser printer and the ink smeared.

Cut out the design.

Roll up the cut out transparency and place it into the liquid hand soap bottle.

Once it is inside it will open up flat. Use a wooden skewer and a pair of tweezers to place it where you want it. You can even add a bow to make it a cute gift!

The best part is this magnetic pencil holder uses a recycled powdered drink mix container. You will also need some scrap book paper, magnets and mod podge.

The short cans are the perfect size, but if you only have the tall ones no worries! The plastic containers are easily cut with a knife (by adults only of course).

Paint a layer of mod podge on the container.

Cut a piece of paper to fit around the container, leaving it about 1 inch longer than the container at the top. Wrap paper around container. Paint the top inside edge of the can with mod podge. Cut slits around the top edge of the paper and then fold paper into the can.

Allow mod podge to dry before giving the entire outside of the container a coat of mod podge. Add a few embellishments. Allow to dry and then add a top coat of mod podge. Allowing each coat to dry helps to keep the paper from bubbling.

Hot glue two magnets to the back of the container.

The containers can also be covered with a picture collage of a hobby, special interest or favorite star!

Now the kids will have the best dressed locker!
